The Aqara Light Switch H2 EU is a smart wall switch that supports both Zigbee and Matter over Thread, and controls lights and other wired devices with wide ecosystem compatibility. It combines relay control with wireless-switch functions, and is available in double-switch and four-button versions.
- Neutral and No-Neutral Support: Works on both with-neutral and no-neutral circuits, so it can replace the existing switches in most homes without rewiring.
- Fits Standard 55 mm Modular Frames: The square switch modules fit standard 55 mm modular (System 55) frames, including third-party ranges such as Gira System 55 and Merten M, so the H2 sits flush alongside compatible modular switch plates.
- Zigbee or Matter over Thread: Run the H2 in Thread mode to connect directly to Matter ecosystems, or in Zigbee mode with an Aqara hub for remote app control, schedules, power statistics and automations with your other smart devices.*
- Full Aqara Features in Zigbee Mode: Zigbee mode with an Aqara hub unlocks the complete feature set, including MARS-Tech compatibility with smart lights and LED indicator configuration in the Aqara Home app.**
- Built-in Wireless Switches: The lower button can work as a wireless switch, with single, double and long press each triggering a different scene or automation. The double-switch model comes with 1 wireless switch, and the four-button model comes with 2.
- Overload and Overheat Protection: With-neutral installations gain overload and overheat protection plus power monitoring, for added safety and efficiency.
* In Thread mode, a Matter controller and a Thread border router are required. In Zigbee mode, a compatible Aqara hub is required for smart functions.
** An Aqara hub with Matter support (e.g. Hub M3) is needed to bring Zigbee-mode devices into third-party ecosystems.
