Technology is useful when it produces a clear result in the home. These are the three outcomes that guide an Aqara system design.
01
Set lighting, curtains and air-conditioning around the room, time of day and the people using it.
02
Replace repeated adjustments with scenes, schedules and automatic responses that work across several devices.
03
Receive alerts from locks, cameras, doorbells and sensors, and check on the home while away.

How the system works
A connected home combines inputs, rules and actions. Aqara hubs and apps bring those parts together into one system.
Presence sensors, door sensors, switches, locks, cameras and schedules provide the input.
Conditions define when a response should run: after sunset, while someone is present, at a set time, or only in a chosen mode.
Lights, curtains, air-conditioning, notifications and scenes carry out the required action.
Control options
A good smart home does not depend on a single app or interface. Each control method has a clear role, and which of them a given device supports is stated on its product page.
The home responds to presence, time, light, temperature or device status.
Wall switches and wireless controls remain familiar for family members and guests.
Aqara Home and the linked platforms give room, device and scene control.
Siri, Google Assistant and Alexa run devices and scenes hands-free once they are linked.
