A metal frame that feels built to last
The H1 uses Aqara's award-winning, symmetrical design with a short, satisfying button travel. A metal frame beneath the housing keeps it rigid and durable — a switch that looks and feels a cut above the plastic it replaces.

No neutral wire? No problem.
Most Singapore homes don't run a neutral wire to the switch, so the H1 comes in a No-Neutral version that installs where older smart switches can't. Swap it in for your existing wall switch and keep using the normal ceiling lights and fans you already own.
- Single, Double or Triple Rocker — control one, two or three lighting circuits from a single plate
- Works with normal lights — made for regular lighting circuits, not smart bulbs
- Fits standard wall boxes — designed for 86 mm square wall boxes

Automate it, or turn it into a wireless button
Paired with an Aqara hub, the H1 unlocks scheduling, remote control from the Aqara Home app, and automations with your other Aqara sensors. Remap the rocker to a 'wireless switch' and let motion sensors or timers handle the lights instead.
- Two-way setup — add a Wireless Remote Switch H1 to control one light from two places, no rewiring
- Power-off memory — choose whether lights return to their last state after an outage
- Configurable LED indicator — set the locator light to suit the room, or switch it off overnight

A compatible Zigbee 3.0 Aqara hub is required and sold separately. Overload protection and some LED-indicator options are available on the With-Neutral version only. Ecosystem support — including Apple Home and IFTTT — may vary in Singapore; please check current availability. Switch replacement involves mains wiring and poses a risk of injury: always engage a licensed electrician. Not for use on water-heater or appliance switches rated 20 A.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a neutral wire?
Most Singapore homes don't run a neutral wire to the switch box, which is exactly why the H1 comes in a No-Neutral version — it installs where older smart switches can't. If your switch box does have a neutral, the With-Neutral version adds overload protection and extra LED-indicator options. The guide 'Neutral vs no-neutral Aqara switches' in our Articles section explains how to check.
Do I need a hub for the H1?
Yes — the H1 runs on Zigbee 3.0 and requires a compatible Aqara Zigbee hub, sold separately. The hub unlocks scheduling, remote control from the Aqara Home app, and automations with your other Aqara sensors.
Does it work with my existing ceiling lights and fans?
Yes — the H1 is made for regular lighting circuits, so you keep the normal lights you already own instead of switching to smart bulbs. It fits standard 86 mm square wall boxes in single, double or triple rocker versions and switches up to 8 A resistive load — do not use it on 20 A water-heater switches.
Can I install the H1 myself?
No — switch replacement involves mains wiring and poses a real risk of injury, so always engage a licensed electrician. For an electrician it is a straightforward job: the H1 drops into the existing 86 mm wall box in place of your current switch.
