Motion and ambient light, sensed separately
Unlike a plain motion sensor, the P2 reads room brightness on its own channel. Trigger automations on light level alone, or combine motion and lux so a scene only fires when it's actually dark.
- Smarter lighting — switch on the ceiling light only when motion is detected and brightness drops below your set lux
- Energy saving — close the shades when a room gets too bright or too warm, so the aircon works less

The adjustable stand mounts the P2 on a wall, a ceiling, or flat on a desk for precise coverage. Its plain, non-camera shape keeps it unobtrusive — reassuring in private spaces like bathrooms — and two coin cells keep it running for up to two years.

Requires a Matter controller with a Thread border router (e.g. Apple HomePod / HomePod mini, Apple TV 4K, Amazon Echo 4th gen, Google Nest Hub 2nd gen, or a SmartThings hub). Independent light-sensor data may not be exposed by every Matter app (for example, Amazon Alexa). Up to 2-year battery life applies to Matter 1.2 systems (up to 1 year on Matter 1.1) and may shorten when the sensor is shared across multiple Matter apps. Detection angle and range vary with ambient temperature and distance. Aqara Home app features (local Alert System, sensitivity tuning) require the Aqara Hub M3 — please check current Singapore availability.
