An 85 dB siren, right on the unit

The instant smoke is detected, a built-in siren sounds at the source — up to 85 dB, loud enough to wake you through a closed door, over a running fan or loud music. A colour LED blinks in step, so the warning lands even if you can't hear it.

Every detector sounds together

Group two or more Aqara Smoke Detectors and a trigger on any one sets off the rest — so an alarm in the kitchen is heard in the bedroom, however large the home. No wiring between units; the grouping is handled over Zigbee.

The alert follows you out the door

Even when you're out, the detector pushes a notification to every phone signed in to the Aqara Home app. Set them as iOS Critical Alerts and they cut through on the lock screen — with sound — even when the phone is on silent or in a Focus mode.
