Covers the whole room, not just the doorway
A 170° field of view catches movement up to 2 metres away, widening to 150° out to 7 metres — so one sensor keeps watch over an entire room. Three sensitivity modes and a 360° magnetic stand let you aim it at exactly the zone you care about.

Set it, then forget it for years
A pair of CR2450 cells and Zigbee 3.0's low-power design push battery life to a record five years, holding up even in cooler rooms. Fewer battery changes, less maintenance, one less thing to think about.
Lights that only come on when it's dark
An onboard light sensor means the P1 reacts to brightness as well as movement. Set lights to switch on only when a room dips below, say, 30 lux — so nothing wakes at midday, and you stop paying for lights that never needed to run. A detection timeout you can set from 1 to 200 seconds keeps every automation feeling instant, never twitchy.

Requires an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub (sold separately). The five-year battery figure is measured with the LED indicator off and the detection timeout set to 30 seconds or more. Ecosystem support varies by app and region, and Matter support was still pending at launch — check current Singapore availability before you rely on a specific platform.
