Aqara's first outdoor camera hub
The G5 Pro doesn't just watch the perimeter — it extends your smart home to the outdoors. A built-in Zigbee hub, Thread border router, Matter controller and Matter bridge in one, so your Aqara sensors, lights and locks stay connected right at the edge of the property.
- Matter bridge — brings your Aqara Zigbee devices into Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings and more
- Matter controller & Thread border router — controls third-party Matter and Thread devices, no separate hub needed

Full-colour clarity, long after dark
A graphene-cooled 1/1.8" sensor paired with an f/1.0 aperture pulls in far more light, for true full-colour night vision instead of grainy black-and-white. When it's truly dark, a built-in warm spotlight lifts the scene — and doubles as a deterrent.
- 2.6K, 4MP detail — 2688×1520 across a 133° wide-angle field of view
- 3W warm spotlight — 3000K, 120° fill light sharpens AI recognition and warns off intruders
- Infrared fallback — switches to IR night vision in complete darkness

7-in-1 visual AI + 4-in-1 audio AI, on-device
An on-board NPU runs recognition locally, so alerts stay fast and footage doesn't need to leave the device to be understood. It knows the difference between a person, a pet, a vehicle and a delivery — and flags what actually matters.
- Person, pet, vehicle & package — detects and tags each as it enters frame
- Loitering & lens-obstruction alerts — notices someone lingering, or a blocked view
- Tailored triggers — any detection can fire an alert, start a recording or run a scene

See something, do something
Because the G5 Pro is also a hub, detections drive the rest of your home directly. Unknown person in the yard after dark? Fire the spotlight to full brightness, sound a custom warning, and switch on the kitchen and living-room lights — all locally, no cloud round-trip.
Rugged where it counts, flexible where you need it
Two power options, three ways to mount, and storage that stays on your own terms.
All-weather build
IP65 dust and water resistance, a metal bracket and graphene heat dissipation keep it running from -30°C to 50°C, year round.
PoE or Wi-Fi
Choose the PoE model for a rock-solid single-cable Ethernet run, or the Wi-Fi model with dual-band 2.4/5GHz and WPA3 for a flexible setup.
Storage your way
Local eMMC plus SMB NAS backup and RTSP streaming to Frigate or Blue Iris — with end-to-end encrypted footage over HomeKit Secure Video.

PoE and Wi-Fi are separate models — the PoE version requires Ethernet wiring and has no Wi-Fi. HomeKit Secure Video needs a compatible Apple Home hub; Matter feature support varies by ecosystem. Cloud storage plans and the 30-day free trial may vary in Singapore — check current availability at purchase.
Frequently asked questions
PoE or Wi-Fi — which G5 Pro should I choose?
They are separate models. The PoE version runs power and data down a single Ethernet cable — the most dependable choice wherever you can pull cable — and has no Wi-Fi at all. The Wi-Fi version uses dual-band 2.4/5 GHz with WPA3 and suits spots where cabling isn't practical.
Where does the footage go?
Onto the camera itself — the G5 Pro records to built-in eMMC storage rather than a microSD card, and can back up over SMB to a NAS or stream over RTSP to systems like Frigate and Blue Iris. Apple users can add end-to-end encrypted HomeKit Secure Video. The guide 'Aqara camera storage explained' in our Articles section covers the details.
Can it handle Singapore weather outdoors?
Yes — it is Aqara's first outdoor camera hub: IP65-rated against dust and rain, running from -30°C to 50°C with graphene heat dissipation and a metal bracket. The f/1.0 aperture and 1/1.8-inch sensor deliver true full-colour night vision, with a 3W warm spotlight for genuinely dark corners.
Do I need a separate hub if I buy the G5 Pro?
No — it is a full smart home hub as well as a camera: Zigbee hub, Thread border router, Matter controller and Matter bridge in one. Detections can drive the rest of the home directly and locally — an unknown person after dark can fire the spotlight, sound a custom warning and switch on the house lights, with no cloud round-trip.
