PERESEAL PC Painters’ Caulk is a pure acrylic sealant specially formulated for convenient, mess-free applications on paint jobs, such as the filling and sealing of gaps and cracks on walls prior to painting. It is paintable after curing, and its elastomeric properties ensure a long-lasting seal and fill.

APPLICATIONS

  • Sealing of wall cracks prior to painting
  • General purpose grouting and caulking
  • Sealing or caulking in hollow core wallboards, ceilings, and floors
  • Filling large gaps and cracks

APPLICATION METHOD

  • Application Method: Applicator gun (hand or pneumatic)
  • Application Temperature: +1 ºC to +30 ºC
  • Clean with: Water immediately after application
  • Finish with: Soapy water solution before skin formation
  • Repair with: PERESEAL PC

SURFACE PREPARATION

  • Substrate: All usual surfaces
  • State of Substrate: Clean, dry, free of grease
  • No primer required for aluminium, air-conditioner ducting materials, and most porous surfaces of building materials

JOINT SIZE

  • Min width: 5mm
  • Max width: 50mm
  • Min depth: 5mm
  • Recommendation: 2 x depth = width

REMARKS

The sealant must be protected from water for 24 hours after application. It must not be used on areas where it will be constantly submerged in liquids.
