Pereseal FR is an intumescent acrylic sealant for passive fire protection. When heated it chars and expands, stopping heat, smoke and fire passing through the joint.

It cures to a firm yet flexible seal and joins a wide variety of materials.

  • Fire-rated up to 4 hours, tested by Bodycote Warringtonfire to BS 476: Part 20: 1987
  • Certificate of Conformity issued by TÜV SÜD PSB to Class 1A
  • Low VOC: qualifies for LEED IEQc4.1 : Low-Emitting Materials – Adhesives and Sealants (tested by TÜV SÜD PSB)
  • Acoustic insulation: sound reduction up to 62 dB
  • Intumescent (chars and expands when exposed to heat)
  • Joint movement capability to 12.5%
  • For use in joints up to 50 mm wide
  • No flashpoint

Remarks

Protect the sealant from water for 24 hours after application. Do not use it where it will be constantly submerged in liquids.
