About Adhesives

Adhesives join substrates through surface adhesion and internal strength. Different chemistries suit different materials, open times, movement requirements and service conditions.

PFE's current range includes hybrid-polymer construction adhesives, polyurethane adhesive, repair adhesive and specialist products for timber, panels and other construction applications. Some hybrid products can both bond and seal. Substrate preparation and compatibility remain product-specific, so check the technical data sheet before use.

Soudal PRO 40 P is a one-component, unfilled, ready-to-use polyurethane adhesive classified D4 under EN 204. It cures quickly with a foaming penetration action to fill bond cavities and pores for maximum adhesion. It can be used on damp wood and can attain the D4 standard of water resistance based on the DIN EN 204 standard.
