Chemical resistance
Poor resistance to aromatic solvents, concentrated acids and chlorinated hydrocarbons. Good resistance to water, aliphatic solvents, mineral oils, grease, diluted inorganic acids and alkalis.
Applications
- Bonding in building and the metal industry
- Elastic bonding of objects, panels, profiles and other parts on the most common substrates
- For bonded facade panels, use the Soudal Panel System
Suitable substrates
Adheres well to all usual building substrates, lacquered wood, stainless steel, AlMgSi1, electrolytic galvanised steel, AlCuMg1, hot-dip galvanised steel, AlMg3, steel ST1403, polystyrene, PVC, polyamide and fibreglass-reinforced epoxy.
Not for PE, PP, PTFE (Teflon®), bituminous substrates, copper or copper-containing materials such as bronze and brass. Not recommended for stress-loaded bonds on PMMA (e.g. Plexi® glass) or polycarbonate (e.g. Makrolon® or Lexan®), which can stress-crack and craze.
