Aqara Smart Lock U400 Kit is one of the world’s first Apple UWB smart locks, using cutting-edge Ultra-Wideband technology to precisely detect when you approach the door, allowing your iPhone or Apple Watch to become a hands-free Apple Home Key that unlocks the door with no tapping or codes. Native Matter over Thread compatibility ensures effortless integration across ecosystems, while its long-lasting rechargeable battery, IP65 waterproof rating with BHMA-certified hardware, advanced fingerprint reader, and auto-lock assurance combine convenience, security and durability in one sleek, ultra-secure and effortlessly connected smart lock.
Suitable to use on metal gates with an additional gate lock box.

- Hands-Free Unlock with Ultra-Wideband Support: UWB-enabled iPhone or Apple Watch, and the door unlocks instantly. No tapping, swiping, or entering codes required.
- Matter over Thread: Powered by Matter over Thread, the U400 works with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, and other Matter-compatible platforms for stable, reliable performance.
- Apple Home Keys: Supports two modes – Express Mode, which unlocks the door with a quick tap; or a more secure mode which requires Face ID or Passcode before the door unlocks.
- Lithium Ion Rechargeable Battery with USB-C Port: The Aqara U400 has a rechargeable 4,880 mAh battery that lasts up to six months per charge. It also features a USB-C charging port on the panel
- Low Battery Alerts: Voice prompts and a half-lit keypad announce a 20 percent low-battery alert. The UWB indicator light will also change from green to yellow, prompting the user to charge.
- Weatherproof and BHMA 3: The smart door lock has an IP65-rated outer panel that resists dust and heavy rain, and can operate in extreme temperatures down to -35°C.
- Quiet Mode and Auto Lock Feature: Auto lock engages when the door closes using a built-in gyroscope. You may activate its Do Not Disturb mode which lowers the volume and mutes noncritical prompts for a quieter home.
- Comes with M100: The Hub M100 can be paired with the Aqara U400 as an Aqara Matter Controller, enabling remote control.
