The Fix All range has a new member. After Fix All Classic and Fix All Crystal, Soudal has introduced Fix All Turbo.

Fix All Turbo is a fast-bonding adhesive that holds in as little as 20 minutes. It uses the same Soudal SMX hybrid polymer technology as the rest of the range, so it bonds metal, wood, many plastics, rubber and stone such as marble.

We were sceptical of the 20-minute figure, so we tested it. We bonded two pieces of wood and started a stopwatch. At 19 minutes 55 seconds we tried to pull them apart and couldn’t.

Next we built a small bridge from three pieces of wood. After 20 minutes it held one of us standing on it, about 80 kg. Then we drove a forklift over it. The wood snapped; the bond didn’t. Soudal rates Turbo at 90% of its final strength after 20 minutes.
