Soudafoam FR has been replaced by Soudafoam FR HY. HY stands for “High Yield”.
Soudafoam FR HY is a one-component, fire-resistant, hand-held PU foam. It gives 25% more yield than Soudafoam FR, so the same can fills more gaps and cavities.
What’s the same, what’s different
- Yield: 25% more than Soudafoam FR
- Expansion: both expand 35 to 40 times their initial volume
- Fire resistance: both are fire-resistant; as different products, they have separate test reports
- Insulation: both provide thermal and acoustic insulation
- Adhesion: both bond without primer to most construction materials
Application
Shake the can for at least 20 seconds, fit the adapter and mist the surfaces with water. Apply in layers, misting after each one. Clean off fresh foam with Soudal Gun & Foam Cleaner or acetone.
